Mini entrepot prestige

This agreement is binding on the client, hereinafter referred to as "lessee" and Mini entrepot prestige and its companies, hereinafter referred to as "lessor". It is governed by the provisions of the Civil Code of Québec.

booking terms and conditions

  • A valid credit card and driver’s license are required to make a reservation.

  • The first month of rental, including applicable taxes, is invoiced upon booking.

  • A prorata for the current month (if applicable) will be charged on the 1st day of the month following the date of booking.

  • Monthly payments must be made before or no later than the first day of each month. In the event of a payment default of more than 72 hours, the landlord reserves the right to restrict access to the site until the payment of the rent and applicable fees of $25 is completed.

  • The possession must be made within a maximum of 14 days following the online booking.

Rights in the event of default

  • Under article 1592 of the civil code (right of retention), we reserve the right to withhold your effects (goods, equipment and/ or furniture) until full payment of your balance. Goods for which storage or other fees are not paid for a period of three (2) consecutive months will be sold at a public auction to pay the fees. A notice of non-payment at the last address (email or physical) will be considered official.

cancellation policy

  • In case of cancellation, a fee equivalent to one month’s rental will be charged and is not refundable.

term of the lease

  • The lease is concluded on a monthly basis and renews automatically at the end of each month.

  • A minimum of one month applies.

  • To terminate the lease, it is the responsibility of the tenant to do so through his customer portal at least 15 days before the end date of the lease.   Otherwise, the tenant remains responsible for the payment of the following month.

  • The effective date of the lease corresponds to that entered during the online booking.

use of the facilities

  • It is forbidden to store flammable, dangerous, explosive or polluting materials in the installations of Mini entrepot prestige.

  • It is forbidden to store food or perishable goods.

  • The cultivation, trade and consumption of cannabis or its derivatives are strictly prohibited on all properties of Mini entrepot prestige.

  • Any breach of these conditions may result in the immediate termination of the lease.

  • The tenant is responsible for locking their unit with their own padlock.

  • The warehouse is accessible 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm.

Responsibilities and Procedures

  • Once the online reservation is submitted, Mini entrepot prestige will contact the tenant within a maximum of 48 hours to finalize the reservation.

  • The lessee is obliged to inform Mini entrepot prestige in writing of any changes to his file (address, telephone, credit card, etc.) or for any problems arising from his property.

  • The renter is obliged to make his own end of lease on his customer portal at least 15 days before the end date of the lease.

  • The renter is responsible for leaving his cabin in the same condition as it was delivered, empty and clean on his last day of rental.

  • Mini entrepot prestige declines all responsibility in the event of errors in the online booking system. Any deposit made will be refunded.

  • The lessee acknowledges that the lessor is in no way responsible for any damage that may arise from any loss, property stored by the lessee in the leased premises, except to the extent that the damage is caused by gross negligence on the part of the lessor or one of its employees. The lessee accordingly waives any kind of recourse to seek the lessor in liability because of some damage that may be suffered by the lessee or property stored by him in the rented space.

insurance

  • The lessee undertakes to obtain the necessary insurance coverage for the full value of his or her effects. In addition, the tenant guarantees that he is covered by a civil liability allowing, in case of damage caused by himself or persons for whom he is responsible, to provide adequate compensation to the victims, including the landlord, if any. The lessee acknowledges that the lessor does not have to insure the items stored by the lessee and that it is the lessee who has this obligation.

  • Mini entrepot prestige assumes no responsibility for the goods stored, nor for any damage or loss.
